  2. 1) Jiang Ziya- Legend of Deification
This a fantastic movie with twists , action and calming scenes. There ae several reasons to like this movie here are some :-
The animation is beautiful and mind-blowing. Even minute details are taken care of like psionic wave explosion from the heroes body while recollecting his past. Though a animated movie based on a myth the way the plot unfolds is beautiful. It begins with the past of hero and comes to the present and the climax turns out to the present where the narration was going on.
The most beautiful part is that Jiang Ziya could have simply obeyed the revered masters words and executed the fox demon and secured his place as the Godhead. But his want to know the truth makes him to transcend his limitations by standing apart from what others did.
He as a hero gives a simple message that you need not do something because you are forced to do by someone else, Stand apart forge your own destiny.
The part where the hero realizes that salvation should not be denied to anyone whether human , demon or animals and ascends as the Grand Duke.

    2)Batman: The Dark Knight
The press conference scene where Harvey turns himself in as Batman for the greater good of the Gotham city.
The way Joker wanted to prove that however good the people are there is always a darker an uglier side of them. When Joker says That if Coleman Reese is not dead in 60 minutes he blows up a hospital. Even the ordinary citizens try to kill Reese.
Even a cop (Ramirez Berg) (who is supposed to be bound to his duty) tries to kill Reese in the car if not for Wayne's interruption Reese would have been long dead.
The most important scene is the Ferry bomb scene. One boat full of scumbags arrested by Harvey dent, another boat full of ordinary innocent civilians.
Joker kindles the most basic sense of survival in human beings by saying that the people on the other boat may not be so noble and may detonate the other boat and it works to some extent.
In the innocent civilians boat a person was ready to blow the scumbags boat by saying that they made their choice they chose to murder and steal and took the detonator his hands.
In the scumbags boat one of the prisoners throws the detonator off the boat so that one tries to detonate the other boat and nobody has to die because of them.
Batman sets himself as an example by not letting Joker die and that there is always goodness left in people.
Powerful dialogue's relating to the title of the movie:-
Joker says to Batman "I took Gotham's white knight and brought him down to our level".
Batman says to Harvey "He wanted to prove that even someone as good as you could fall".

  3. 1. THUPPAKKI- This film has been really special to me and most of the Vijay fans out there. Apart from his fans everybody enjoyed it to the fullest. Thuppakki was Vijay's breakthrough after a huge row consecutive below par films. An action dramatic film which had all of it's commercial elements such as songs, romance, action and drama. An army officer who returns home for his vacation does not forget his duty of protecting his country. He catches hold of the sleeper cells in Mumbai city and destroys them. Vijay's acting and mannerism in the film was absolutely mind blowing. Of course, A R Murugadoss did an extraordinary work in the screenplay and direction department. Harris was up to the mark with his tremendous background score and songs. This film was dedicated to all the army officers. This film also set a benchmark in the Indian box office as it crossed 100 crores worldwide.

2.CHHICHHORE- When I went to see the movie, I didn't have much expectations and didn't know who the Director was but by the time movie ended, I was sure that it was definitely some genius who has directed such a great movie. When the credentials rolled up, I was right. It was Nitesh Tiwari. Yes, the same guy who gave us Dangal. Chhichhore is a story of seven friends who happen to meet and recall their engineering days (in fact, a lot of its crew is from reputed engineering colleges), and it does so amazingly that you are left overwhelmed with emotions and nostalgia. I can recall a very few good movies in last one decade that could do so. 3 idiots was one but it was quite refined to suit the wider audience. Chhichhore is bit more raw than the former. What makes it more special is its simplicity and lack of star power. Sushant Singh Rajput is the protagonist among equals, and sinks totally into his character, especially the one of college going youngster. In his older character, he at times, looks not so convincing but that never goes much offbeat. Shraddha Kapoor has actually acted good after a long long time. Tahir Raj Bhasin as Derek and Prateik Babbar as Raggie give solid performances in supporting roles. However, it is Varun Sharma, yes our very own adorable 'chucha', who will tickle your bones with his humorous one liners as 'Sexa' this time. There is a very long list of popular web artists too who bring freshness in the young cast that looks authentic. Music by Pritam is brilliant and compliments the screenplay well. All songs go by the narration and help move the story forward. It is going to stay long in your memories. The unconventional climax is the heart and soul of the movie. It brings out the whole essence of the movie in a very beautiful way. It also sends us an important message of never giving up on things and there always would be a better option.

  4. Namrata Premkumar12 April 2021 at 13:04

Not getting bored or losing interest in a film by skipping parts or fast forwarding scenes is a very important criteria when it comes to choosing your favorite movies. This is what I've taken into account while selecting these two favorites of mine.
    1.Petta
-Any Rajinikanth film ought to be in good in some aspect and even if it's an utter flop, the actor seems to add his charm in some form or the other to save it.Petta is an expectation. It is a treat for all the superstar fans and also is one such film which would turn a non-Rajini fan into a superstar veriyan.Almost all the aspects of the film were perfected with each incident having a reasonable and unthinkable explanation keeping us always on the edge of our seats.I personally loved the choice of casting.Be it the smallest of roles, each character seemed to understand and live the role to their fullest. The music was also another major contributor for the film to have captivated the audience soo well. The flashback, fight scenes and the subtle romance tied this blockbuster together to make it a movie which celebrated the iconic Kollywood actor in all ways possible.

    2.Herbie: Fully Loaded
-If I'm being honest,I've definately lost count of the number of times I've seen this feel-good film. This film has my childhood written all over it.The thought of an inanimate object being personified and made believable throughout the film is something that the Hollywood industry has always managed to pull off efficiently. The movie also has its share of father-daughter sentiment and a love track which makes the film a wholesome one.Another aspect I really love about this film is the background score which I inevitable seem to hum often. It really uplifts the whole experience since the movie evolves around cars and the racing track. It still remains a film that lifts up my mood at any given point of time and therefore remains as a timeless classic.

  5. Srivathsan- Baahubali 2-The Conclusion is an emotional roller-coaster with vigorous and brisk war scenes. The craze, the hype and the laurels before the release do not overshadow the magic of the movie, which comes out victorious in the end. Much like its protagonist – Baahubali.
At the end of the first part, it was all settled that Baahubali will be the next king, and the job was cut out for him. He had the support of people and he proved himself a worthy heir to the Mahishmati kingdom. But wait for the Bijjala Dev and his diabolical plans to usurp the kingdom! He will come off as the mixture of Sakuni and Dhritarashtra from Mahabharat. Check how the treachery of Bijjala and Bhallala wrap up the good fortunes of Sivagami, Baahubali, Kattappa, and the kingdom. that is interesting.
The muscles for which Prabhas and Rana trained hard for years will shoulder to shoulder in an ultimate fight, and the contest will be a real treat to watch.
And VFX is very good at this movie.so we can watch like realistic.
2.varanam Aayiram -There is alot of love in the movie. Different kinds of love. A father's love for his son that has set him free. A husband's love for his wife that is so emotional. A girl's love for her friend's brother that lasts a decade before it works out.
And The understanding. When Surya gets addicted to drugs, his father doesn't disown him. He doesn't beat him up and he doesn't get angry. His wife and he hold their son down and make him sleep. They lock him up till he comes to his senses and then they let him free with one promise "go anywhere you like. but come back. i want you back".
And This is the first time that i've seen the hero of the film address his father as 'daddy' throughout a tamil movie. It is not sappy and it is not over glorified. It simply shows the child within the son's heart who still thinks of his father the same way he did when he was a kid.
Last but not the least, the director is as much a reason to watch it as the film itself. Gautham has proved to be a mature, level headed, emotionally intelligent director through this film. He has put everything into the film and it shows. His personal experiences seem to be part of the story but it only adds to the charm of the movie.
These are reasons that I love this movie.

  6. Two of my favourite movies are:
1.Dont breathe-This is a horror thriller movie which kept me glaring at the screen all the time. The movie had multiple twists and many jump scaring scenes.I thought the movie is about evil spirits and ghosts but it was totally different. The murder scenes were damn interesting. That too the climax scene was unpredictable. It reached my expectations of a thriller movie. This is one of the best thriller movie that I have seen.
2.V-This is a action thriller movie. The movie had lots of good action sequences. Those were really natural.Story had intriguing twists and kept us guessing till the end of the story. The plot was captivating. The songs and BGM were also brilliant.I especially liked the gun shot scenes and the climax. The actor Nani did something which was not his cup of tea.Overall it was a nice action movie with a good social message.

  8. 1.Mersal-Mersal was a very good family entertainer made to cater family audience. It was thenandal's 100th movie hence they decided to make it grand with a star cast and Mozart of Madras himself scoring music for the movie.
It had a racy screenplay with right blend of emotions. They had taken up a social issue of medical scams and were successful potraying it on screen.Vijay playing three roles in the movie had potrayed himself differently with each role he played which was heartening to watch as a Vijay fan.The movie had many scenes potraying Tamil pride which was very well received by Tamil audience.
It was overall a decent family entertainer.Since the movie released during deepavali it was expected to be a huge hit considering vijay’s popularity. But the controversies surrounding the movie made it hugely popular among fellow states,to an extent of a national debate during prime time.Hence making it one of the biggest blockbusters in kollywood industry.

2)Charlie and the chocolate factory-Growing up, my favorite another one movie was, easily, "Charlie & the Chocolate Factory". Roald Dahl's magical tale of a young boy's adventure in the strange factory was spell-binding. Though I never had a problem with the original "Willy Wonka" move with Gene Wilder (despite how unfaithful it was, it was still a cute and heart-warming movie), I was doing back-flips when I heard Tim Burton, quite possibly my all-time favorite director, would helm a new version of the movie.
First and foremost, Johnny Depp is perfect as Willy Wonka. What people don't really pick up from the first movie is that Wonka was intended to be, well, crazy. He was eccentric and freaky, the way he allowed the rotten children to get what they deserved and protected his factory like it was his child. Gene Wilder portrayed Wonka more like a fatherly-figure, and really was just too nice.
What I loved most about the movie was how faithful it was. Everything that was mentioned, from the chocolate palace to the hair toffee, was taken directly. Which made incredibly impressed.
This is definitely a movie for everyone, especially those of us who hold the original tale in our hearts. Wonka chocolate bars for all!

  9. 1. One of my recent favourite movie is SOUL. A fantasy comedy-drama Soul is a movie about Joe Gardner, a jazz musician who is currently working as a school music teacher. With the help of one of his former students he gets his most awaited big break. But due to a small accident, he ends up as a soul in the Great Before. There he meets a young cynical soul named 22. He then decides to help 22 in order to get back to Earth. Even though it has a touch of fantasy, the basic idea of the movie is that we need to enjoy the small moments in life and sometimes the thing that we may have dreamed of all our lives might not be up to it, after we achieved it. Therefore, as we aim for something higher, we shouldn't be too obsessed with it and instead we should be happy with the present life and take time to appreciate it is what Soul is all about. Pixar has done a really amazing job with its detailed animations and it has such an amazing music score and a beautiful message. When I started watching the film i just wanted to have a fun movie time but apart from entertainment Soul left me wondering about how I was living my life and it sure did make me want to enjoy every moment as much as I can.
    2. My next favourite is THE INTERN. The Intern is about Ben Whittaker, a 70 year old retired executive who applies for a senior intern position at an online fashion store. And how he becomes an advised and a friend for his boss Jules is what the movie is about. The lead roles are played by Robert de Niro and Anna Hathaway, both of whom have done a marvellous job at their roles. The movie also has a brilliant cast of supporting characters. Initially Jules is doubtful about Ben being assigned as an intern for her. But as the movie proceeds we see how Ben become a father figure, friend and a trusted advisor to Jules. We can see that with the right people by our sides we can achieve heights. The movie also has a subtle play of emotions throughout it and leaves us with a happy heart. After watching The Intern I really felt how the previous generation's wisdom could be of such a help for us. My favourite character was Ben. Even after retirement he didn't want to waste his talent and was even ready to learn new things . This can be seen in the scene where he joins facebook. He is a picture of calm and appreciates people for their talent and hard work, at the same time helps them out with their difficulties. And Jules character tells us to move forward confidently and do what we love. The movie had a simple story line but lots of complicated and lovely characters which made me love it.

    2. 2.0-2.0 right from the beginning VFX and 3D graphics rule the show .. It is amazing to see letters flying to form SUPER STAR and the formation kick starts a journey toward shear brilliance in film making . Kudos to Shankar and team to dream and realising it in the big screen
Credit goes to the first half which slowly reveals the intrinsic details of impact of radiation which leads to the extinction of cute birds. Shear magic to engage in a 3D visual of magistic bird getting revealed stage by stage ..Nirav shah and ARR contributes to a greater extent from the first real till the end credits.
It is undoubtedly Rajini show all the way and he excels in all 4 avatars .. 2.0 and 3.0 minibots are the best and in spite of aging factor he manages to retain his charismatic presence and proves once again that there is only one ( No 1 )super star who is it replaceable in celluloid format .
No movie is perfect without a prominant and strong antagonist and Akshay is a perfect choice to play Pakshirajan who shows different colours from a old man to a fierce Aura of a big bird with red glowing eyes ..
2nd half have some compromise and shown with several loop holes , do digest it which will get suppressed with shear spectacle of 3D viewing and VFX effect
Climax portion is extended with complete mad ass fight sequence which itself worth the bucks spent . Amy has proven that she is not a mere beauty queen and enacted the role of a android with ease and well emoted at the right place

  11. while watching film usually I see it's theme and lead actor acting when it's really awesome I like it. This two reason I take into account while selecting my favorite movies.

Nanban( Tamil) - This movie is remake of 3 idiots. Many times I watched this movie but I didn't get bore. The theme of this film is one shouldn't run behind success and rather pursue his own interests and happiness. The theme of the movie made me to like a lot. Its says if anyone develops right skills anything is possible. In this movie, Director shankar again proved that he have ability to make remake sucessfully. Manoj Camera work are excellent especially songs were made well. The uniqueness of this movie is amazing performance of actor vijay, jeeva, Srikanth, sathyaraj and also his dialogues. Soundtrack and background played by harris Jayaraj is really awesome. Nanban marks the return of the shanker to the youth oriented film after his boys movie. Excellent movie and super family picture movie. The character of panchavan pariventhan is really awesome. It is fully fledged with sensible entertainment, love, comedy and most essentially friendship. This movie showcase the value of true friendship and also the priority we give to our dreams and goals which made me inspire a lot.

Dangal(hindi) - this movie is all time favourite movie. Dangal means wrestling and challenge. A riveting story of a strict father pushing his daughters towards a sports glory. Everyone have to watch to this movie in all aspects. Fantastic movie acted by Amir Khan. This movie is based on real life story Haryanavi wrestler Mahavir Singh which made me inspire a lot. It's actually a biographical sports drama denotes the positive willpower of the person. This movie gifted good feminist message to society which made me like a lot. The title song also motivational to hear. Amir Khan well matched for mahavir singh. Entire team effect are appreciated. Even supporting cast gave a lasting impression. Even the soundtrack is good. The song "Dhaakad" is really awesome. As I already said it's true event based movie and reveals that an ordinary man who had to give up his passion when he have to prioritize his survival over passion, but later fulfills his dreams through his two daughters beating all the odds that came across their way. And this was more difficult than himself prioritizing his survival over passion, because from a village background to bring up two girls into wrestling field was beyond a imagination for anyone in society back at that times shown in movie.

  12. Yeh Jawaani Hai Deewani
Watched n times but never got sick of it! It is indeed a simple and easy going movie with various fun elements. It portrays the life of 4 bestfriend and how their passion take them in various paths. The thing which impressed me in this film is that everyone is cool in their own way.
The fights and love between the friends make it all interesting and most importantly the cast of the movie.Whole lot of fun to watch.

    Bangalore days
Craziest cousins all three with different circumstances end up in Bangalore as they planned in their childhood. The storyline is simple but practical. This film is also a bliss to watch. The bond between the cousins in the film is just wow. This film shows that love has no limits and the past life has got nothing to do with your present or future. The important reason I like this movie is cast and the director.Anytime ready to grab a popcorn and binge in.

  13. Athitha Kandan J12 April 2021 at 17:27

    Athitha Kandan J
    1) Pariyerum Perumal BA,BL
The movie focuses on an eighteen year old law college student who aspires to become a lawyer in order to gain power to deal with the local police which is against them. The protagonist along with his father was greatly humiliated and tortured in the film, just because the father of an upper caste girl(a friend of Pariyerum perumal, and she's very much obsessed to him) thought that they both are in love and if it leads further, he may even lose his daughter. It went to an extent where he even hired a hit man to kill Pariyerum Perumal, due to the pressure of fellow people of his caste.
The young director Mari SelvaRaj literally crafted each and every frame of his debut film. The way he defined and developed each and every characters are astonishing.
An young aspiring student, who went through a lot and crushed even before knowing what their relationship was.
An innocent upper caste girl, who didn't know the darker side of her society and falls in love with Pariyan being attracted to his warm character.
An upper caste father, easily influenced by the people around him. Goes to an extent to even hire a hit man to execute the innocent boy, in order to protect his daughter from his caste people.
An old hit man filled with vengeance and hatred against the underprivileged caste people who readily executes young lower caste boys when they make love with upper caste girls.
The director efficiently handled these characters.Gave them all the screen time they deserved.
Few efforts of the director seriously hit us hard. Whenever the hit man executed a boy(honor kill) while displaying the news paper, he includes a nation wide sad news. Like he shows the news of the death of India's first Dalit president Narayanan on top and shows the death of the boy along with it. And when the hit man dies he includes the news of India's victory in cricket along with that news.
And the way the director compromised the two class people was awesome. He included a man(yogi Babu) who don't care about caste hierarchy being a good friend of pariyan.
The love of the father for his daughter was important than his caste's pride. He was more driven by the fact that he might lose his daughter if he don't break their relationship.
So he was cautious and mature enough to not provoke any caste and at the same way he conveyed everything that he wanted to without any compromise.

    2) Aruvi
It's the story of a young girl who was suddenly hated and abandoned by her family that loved her so much, when they came to know that she got AIDS.
They concluded that she got that disease only by having sex, without giving her any chance to defend her stand. As a result of their wrong conclusion she was molested and even raped by three heartless people, who used her pitiful situation to compel her into it.
Later when she went to a TV program seeking justice for what has happened to her, The host despite being a woman, concluded that she was the culprit and starts raging furiously at her.
The film touches two sensitive contexts at the same time.
The lack of knowledge about AIDS among our society. How people look down at people who are suffering from AIDS.
And the second and most important one to me is the view of our society towards women's virginity. Why people matter virginity of women a lot more than that of men. We know that everyone opposes the act of sex before marriage in India. But the effect is adverse in case of women. Our society is basically centred around women.
Aruvi describes this clearly. The protagonist's brother, father, mother everyone's love turned to pure hate when they thought that she lost virginity and feared the society. If it's their son, even if he really had sex, they would not have gone this far as parting him from the family. Whenever there's a talk about virginity, it's always women who are affected the most. This has to change.
That's what Aruvi intended to convey.

  14. Interstellar
Its an amazing science fiction movie. I never get bored of watching it. But when i watched it for the first time it seemed quite complex and little hard to follow. But once i got what they were trying to explain it became more interesting to watch. The movie is all about finding a new place for the humanity to thrive.Even though it seems little implausible but the way they explained every theory is really amazing. The other thing which i loved the most is the father daughter relation. Even he was not sure whether he will return or not but he said yes to the mission as he believed its the only way to save her daughter's future. So its the love for his family which made him to do it.I think its the Christopher Nolan's best masterpiece.

    Aanandam
Its a fun filled entertainer. The film take us through the college life of computer science engineers which includea the fun, the drama ,the love, the fights and whatnot. Its more relatable to us. This movie is like a roller coaster ride of fun and fights between the friends . Most importantly the sharing , the care for others, teamwork and the support we get when the things get out of hand makes the movie even more beautiful . Its a one good movie to watch with friends as it exactly depicts the dream life of every College student. Hope we get to experience this.

  15. 1.Forrest Gump

The movie Forrest Gump follows the life events of a man who shares the name as the title of the film. Gump faces many tribulations throughout his life, but he never lets any of them interfere with his happiness. From wearing braces on his legs, to having a below average IQ and even being shot, Gump continues to believe that good things will happen and goes after his dreams. While several less than ideal things occur during Gump's life, he manages to turn each setback into something good for him, such as when he finally gets his braces off he discovers that he is capable of running faster than most other people. This skill allows Gump to not only escape his bullies while he is a child in Greenbow, but also to gain a football scholarship, save many soldiers' lives and become famous for his ability. While Gump eventually achieves the majority of the things he hoped to throughout the movie, it proved a much more difficult task to win the heart of his life-long friend Jenny Curran. The movie is centered on Forrest Gump and the incidences that occur during his life, but during each period in his lifetime he thinks back of Jenny and how important she is to him. Although the two characters grew up together and shared a very close friendship, as the movie progresses they grow apart. This upsets Gump who cares immensely for the girl who had a rough start in life, and it seems the two always end up back in each other's lives, often in extraordinary ways like meeting in the Reflection Pond in D.C. Even though Gump is the main character of the film, it similarly tells the story of Curran and the hardships she faces. One of the clearest messages that can be taken from Forrest Gump is that it's important to appreciate life while you have it. Gump's story shows that you never know what's going to happen in the future, and that also includes not knowing when your time will be up or if your life is ever going to be compromised.

    2.Dhrishyam 2

After the perfectly orchestrated murder(Dhrishyam 1) of former IG Geetha prabhakaran's son Varun prabhakaran, Georgekutty leaded a smooth life with his family until the new IG Thomas bastin finds a new lead from an unnoticed eyewitness. George kutty gets arrested and is brought to trial. However, George kutty's mastermind shields him and his family from the police and the public even though the whole town knew he was the murderer. George kutty played a vicious game by making attempts to resist what he predicted would happen one day. The climax gave a mind boggling twist which made the audience fear George kutty. In the end his deeds were justified as he was suffering the most terrible punishment that a person could endure. The story was absolutely an unexpected one and each frame of the film were sculpted beautifully by the director and the casting was great. So, the moral that can be predominantly seen in this film is we need to pay for our sins and there is no shortcut.

  16. CHLIDREN OF HEAVEN: This is an emotional drama film. It is good light hearted movie. It is a Persian movie where the director explains about their country lifestyle and in every country, there will be two sides rich and poor. This movie teaches us about several things like how to be determined, self confidence and self-reliance. The two child characters where main lead of the story their performances was top notch. The writing is so depth so that we can get connected to that two main characters within 4 to 5 scences. It also teaches about the kindness which is visually conveyed and it is the most emotional scene in the movie. The movie also conveys how the society treats rich and poor. It also defines, how the relationship between the siblings to be. It is a must watch movie.

KANNATHIL MUTHAMITTAL – This film is a emotional drama. The main reason to like the film is the music and cinematography which is very nice. The locations chosen for the songs is very nice (especially the waterfall song) and it is beautifully captured and the song even after 19 years the song is fresh this can be done only by the a.r Rahman. The movie is more poetic. This movie consists of 2 subplots which is very nicely blended with the main plot of the story. The main highlight of the film is in the climax portion were each and every character were delivered their finest performance (especially that child acting). The director also conveyed about the sri lankan tamil refugees and their sufferings and how they were treated in the country. While seeing their struggles we can feel how we are destroying our own freedom. There were no lengthy dialouges in the movie but the characters reactions and the visuals were strong enough to deliver the situations.

  17. Your name(Kimi no na wa): It is a Japanese animated (anime) movie which holds a special place in my heart.
It is a romance/fantasy movie revolves around two highscool students girl named Mitshua from a village in japan and boy named Taki from Tokyo and how their lives are intertwined because of a comet.

One day, their body gets swapped ,which occurs random days when they wake up, this part of the movie was so funny, to watch them getting accustomed to their surrounding life and their new body.

Reasons why I love this film is the way it was animated, it is next level, giving details to simple things makes it very appealing to the viewer 's eyes and it is beautifully done, likewise are the other movies of the director Makoto Shinkai.
I felt so calm and swayed by the details and I wanted to escape into this animated world.
Another reason was the emotional elements it brings up on the viewers, emotions such as sense of longing to meet loved one . The lead characters were from different timeline too (it will be known later) and they wanted to meet each other and there was a scene were they had the opportunity but there was some kind of difficulty. In those scenes I teared up.
The story line, animation, soundtrack etc makes it one of the best anime movies of all time.

The quiet place: this movie is an horror thriller film, about a family, a couple with three children of surviving in a post apocalyptic world , where creatures which are blind and hypersensitive to sound preys on anything causing sound. The family members communicate with each other through sign language.
I love this movie because of some noteworthy scenes such as the part which gave major anxiety to the viewers when the pregnant wife (Emily blunt, whose acting was admirable) stubbed her leg on a sharp nail and right after which she undergoes labor in a bath tub when the creature was nearby ,it was crazy. The scene where the dad was selfless and gave his life to save his children was heroic and emotional , and for the happy scenes such as when the father and the son scream their hearts out under the sound mask of loud waterfall and both the lead actors dancing together and lsitening to music from headphones was heart warming and shows the enjoyment of freedom for a brief moment in their sound dreading world.
The other reason is when I realised after watching this film how brilliant it was, the fact that there was very fewer dialogues(25 lines) in the entire movie and most of the scary, nightmarish sound effects were made by simple stuff like tasing the grapes ,breaking a celery and lettuce was cool and funny to know . The director/lead actor John Krasinski and the sound effect team made a great gripping thriller movie. Waiting for the next part!

  18. PICHAIKARAN : It's an amazing film and most important mothers love of an son. Vijay Antonyis a rich businessman based out of Palladam, Tirupur district. His mother Bhuvaneshwari is the person behind the growth of their textile business following her husband's early death. Avinashi is her brother-in-law who is money minded and has plans to grab Arul's properties. Arul returns from abroad after graduation and takes charge of all the businesses that were run by his mother.
The sage advises him to live a 48-day life of a beggar with two conditions; the first being that he shouldn't reveal his real identity and the second being that he shouldn't inform anyone else of this. If he completes it, his mother will have a chance to survive. They like a emotion, song, love, action are best and high on sentiment and human value.

RAJA RANI : It's a great romantic film deep meaning about love failure after life it.The marriage is an arranged one, to which both have consented reluctantly to make their parents happy. After the marriage, they live together as strangers in their apartment, where the neighbours are upset with John who comes home drunk every night, which he does deliberately to annoy Regina. 19. 1.Pursuit Of Happiness:-
Pursuit of happyness is one of the most inspirational movie I have ever seen and it was shown by my father to me so yes it means a lot to me. This movie has shown the realities of life how life gives you tough times and you have to fight through them. The best part is if life gives you tough times and you pass through it then there's something really amazing waiting for you in future so just fight. But the best part of the film is how a father fights all the odds to keep his son happy. The relationship of a father and child is just amazing. This film also depicts the importance of education in one's life but that doesn't mean that if you aren't educated you won't ever succeed. Everyone should just have the zeal to achieve something in life. In short the movie is an amazing example to live a life .There are few things that I loved the most about this movie :
•Life puts you down many times and makes you lose hope of coming up, but a person who still doesn't give up will slowly reach the heights he has imagined.
•There is no short cut or substitute for hard work no matter how clever you are.
•Sometimes will power has an upper hand over intelligence.
•Family is everything, never give up on your family.
•Difficult circumstances test your true love not the happy times.
•Once you fix a goal stick to it until you succeed.
Will Smith's acting was definitely heart touching and made the movie even more special.

    2.Drishyam:-
Drishyam isn’t just any run-of-the-mill crime thriller. It had the marvelous Mohanlal to begin with. And if that wasn’t enough, the sleek editing and frenetic pace of the 2013 film had everyone at the edge of their seats. Add to the critical acclaim garnered from all across the world, the movie turned out to be a box-office blockbuster. So much so that Drishyam was the first Malayalam film to collect ₹500 million from its theatrical box office collections going on to collect more than ₹750 million worldwide, a record that it held till 2016.There aren’t too many films in recent times that have made the audience think about what they’ve seen long after the movie is over. Drishyam, a very intelligent film, with an abundance of suspense and twists that you never saw coming, made sure that it left a lasting impression on the viewer. Its climax will be fondly remembered for making us wonder about the things going inside Georgekutty’s head and how he managed to save his family from trouble. Safe to say that it was an action-packed thriller that completely blew our minds.

  20. Harry Potter film series - With all my heart, I love Harry Potter. When I was a kid, I used to watch bits and pieces while my mum watched and I've loved it since then.
While Harry learns wizardry at Hogwarts, all the seven parts show his persistence in defeating the madman Voldemort, a dark wizard. His struggles at his upsetting aunt's house are very well captured.
I love how Ron and Hermione stay with Harry in all his ups and downs. They've never failed in supporting their dear friend and they treat him like family. One must be very lucky and charmed to earn friends like them. I adore their friendship a lot.
The other thing which I love about this film series is the importance given to each and every character. None of them get left out as insignificant eventhough some roles are short. The house-elf Dobby stole my heart. His loyalty is very much appreciable. He would go to any extent to protect his master. I felt the most miserable when he died and his last words were pleasingly sad.
I'll forever cherish the boy who lived.

Jersey - A telugu sports drama which I hold dear.
A very talented cricketer, Arjun plans to return to playing in his late thirties (he quits in his young age as he has some heart malfunctioning which no one knew about but him). His wife Sarah despises him now who once used to love him. Nani, their son, loves to watch his dad play. Things change when Arjun gets selected for the Ranji team.
The first thing I love about this film is the bond that Arjun and Nani share. In fact, Arjun restarts his cricket career after hearing Nani say that it's such an immense pleasure to watch his dad play. Arjun loves his son so much that he even decides to steal money from his wife to get Nani a birthday gift that he asked for.
The second thing I like is Arjun himself. I admire the way he struggled to blend with the young team, the way he struggled not to let his son know about his financial setback and the way he struggled to win Sarah's love back.
His love for cricket will always be never-ending.

  21. 1. Hichki
Hichki is one of my favourite movies of all time. The movie Hichki highlights the story of young woman Naina Mathur (Rani Mukherjee) who has Tourette’s syndrome, this causes her to involuntarily make odd sounds and movements. However, she dreams of being a teacher and ends up with a very uncooperative class, a class whose only objective is to make her life difficult. Nevertheless, over time they develop a student-teacher relationship that words cannot explain. I love this movie because it is a reflection of her determination and love to teach. She introduces new and fun methods to teach difficult topics and this garners her students interests. Her students reciprocate her kindness and work hard to excel in their exams. Even when the whole school refused to believe that her students could do it she kept working hard and in the end, they all excelled in their exams. The movie ends with her farewell as she retires from the post of principal of the school several years later, where she meets her previous students who are all doing well. I’ve watched this movie so many times and it always fills my heart to the fullest. I never get tired of watching this movie because her determination is so inspiring. It is admirable to watch how the students understand her better and how they learn to respect and appreciate each other.

    2.Coco
Another movie I truly enjoyed was Coco. Coco is a movie about a young boy(Miguel) who hopes to be a musician, but his family is completely against it. On the day of the dead, he steals a guitar from Ernesto de la Cruz (one of the most popular musicians of his time) to play at a music competition to prove his ability. However the moment he takes the guitar he is transported to the world of the dead. The movie illustrates his journey as he travels through the world of the dead, revisiting his history, his family and his relationships. He learns the value of his family and how every relationship should be cherished. It is heartening to watch how Miguel's family is willing to cast away their strict norms so that he can truly be happy. The songs in the movie are simply heartwarming. The movie Coco brings a smile to my face and is always a delight to watch. The movie is a true epitome of imagination and creativity, and is filled with bright, vibrant colours. It also has several unexpected twists which are very intriguing.

Interstellar is a mind-blowing movie with fantastic visual's, interesting story line. This is a sci-fi and emotional movie directed by Christopher Nolan. The story starts with life is going to end in earth. Scientists are searching for the new home for Humans. The hero (cooper) wants to leave from his family to save rest of human life. The movie well explained about the Space, Time dilation in space, Gravity,Black hole, etc. A group of scientists were already sent to space to find a suitable planet for living. Out of that 3 scientists were given signal. Cooper and his crew were initially enters in to a false planet . After that the crew move to another planet they faces a treachery, both are inhabited . The crew now have only one opportunity to find and the two the Astronauts were removed to deep space in order other one will enter the planet. In this part of movie the director shows the 5th dimension which was really interesting to watch. In that cooper tells the way to overcome gravity to her daughter. The final planet is habitable. The visual of this movie gives a real experience in space the story and the science concept are main pillars of this movie.

Ayirathil Oruvan is a masterpiece of director Selvaraghavan. It's a fantasy and thriller movie. It's also based on true history which shows the brutal battle between two dynasties in Tamilnadu. The story starts before some centuries. A Chola king and a God statue of pandyas were moved to a island secretly from Pandya. Many Pandyan kings trace the place but Cholas interpreted with 7 traps . In present a excavation team going to find the extinct Chola empire in that island after all struggle they face but a major twist is that they found that Cholans were not extinct they are living so many generations inside the island. The visual, computer graphics, creativity and background music were performed well in that movie. According to Cholans history when the messenger comes they will reach the Tanjore and ruling the people . But the most important is second part a ancient people of chola is going to meet present generation people of Tamilnadu and they expecting king's ruling in the democratic country all these things are more interesting to watch. It's also a movie with low budget and gives a fantastic fantasy.

Very heart touching and emotional movie. I am out of words to express. I was literally cried. The movie showed very matured and intense love between the couple. I want to particularly mention about the role of hero as a husband was really extraordinary. The hero's patience and heroin's struggle altogether which exhibits the expression of Love was extraordinary. By this film every body can under stand the pain and sufferings of cancer patients. Both lead characters displayed very realistic. Excellent mild BGM which gives importance to dialogue. Some simple turning points in the story makes the screen play interested.

    ANBE SIVAM

This movie is an epic. The view about religion changed altogether and this movie teaches god is just love and love is just god and humanity is everyone’s religion. A lesson for life, taught in a subtle manner. The movie revolves around the dialogues and ideologies of Madhavan and Kamal Hassan. This movie will surely change the mindset towards entire humanity. The song "yaar yaar sivam" gives chills to me every time when hear it, quite powerful and magical music with brilliant acting and screenplay.

    Soorarai pottru

This movie was really motivating and encouraging to struggle and succeed our dream. If there is dream to fly,it doesn't matter from where you come from you can fly. Suriya's performance was really exciting and above expectations. And the mode of story telling was really good and every situation had explained. Movie restricted usual rhythm of action fight scenes and built a realistic scenes. Music in this movie does its best with unbeatable sounds that makes us amaze. A female can also make e mal-centric masterpiece. Co-star Aparna was awesome and too much natural. In whole movie, I didn't even saw a single scene which doesn't have no logic.

    Aruvam

What works best in 'Aruvam'is the sequences that expose the adulteration processes in the food industry that is truly stomach churning and after the show I think twice before drinking tea at the roadside stall or a meal at the classy restaurant chain as well. How the dreams of the government school children who consume non-meal scheme food are quashed due to the evils of adulteration are shown convincingly. Similarly the dialogue in that scene in which the parents say that the government has paid them compensation to shut their mouths and that the children pain off their debts by dying has a strong ring of truth in it. The writing of Siddharth's character as a man who returns from death to take revenge for a social cause is also quite novel in the horror genre.

  25. Yeh jawani hai deewani
Whenever I think of this movie happiness is the first thing that comes to my mind. Everything about this movie is catchy and colourful.
It's a movie , which dealt with the present young generation, their idea of romance, their friendships, their dilemmas perfectly well. It tells us how to live our life in our own ways and achieve our dreams.
The movie deals with 4 friends Bunny, Naina, Aditi and Avi. While Bunny Aditi and Avi were best friends, Naina the studious girl is the last minute addition to their group. The roles they played are totally different from each other.Bunny wants to travel the world and be free forever.Naina wants to be a Doctor, believes in family .The first half of the film is a fun ride. In the intermission point they all went to their own way.In the second half they again came back together in Aditi's wedding with their mixed ideologies and changed priorities but the friendship and love for each other remains the same.
The actors (fantastic casting) have beautifully expressed the emotion and the characters are easily relatable to each and every individual ,personally I felt Naina was me!! The songs, the scenes , the dance are simply superb and a treat to watch.
Though watched it n number of times the vibe remains the same and will always remain a favourite.

    Work it

This is one of the best movies I got to watch in this lockdown. I'm a huge fan of Jordan Fisher and it is the reason why I watched this movie.
Quinn (Sabrina Carpenter ) is your normal, average everyday high school teen and dreams to attend Duke university. After an interview with an admission counselor Quinn is informed that her application is similar to other applicants. Panicking she blurts out about being a part of well reputed dance team The Thunderbirds and is participating in the Work it dance competition. To make this lie come true she decides to audition for The Thunderbirds with the help of her only friend Jasmine( Liza Koshy)- who is part of the team .To her dismay she is rejected by the team s leader. This is when she decides to start her own dance team along with Jasmine and stumbles upon Jake Taylor(Jordan) another promising dancer to choreograph for her team. The rest of the story is how the ambitious Quinn wins the competition and also gets admitted at the Duke University after all the obstacles.
Everyone in the movie played their part brilliantly and the emotions were conveyed well. Quinn and Jake's (Jordan Fisher) love story was cute and the friendships shared between everybody felt real .
Being a dance film it wont be right without commenting about the dance which was incredible.
The dance was captivating and phenomenal. This movie which is fun and touching will always remain a favourite one….

    1,CHARLIE -starring Dulquer, parvathy
This film has a completely different and interesting story and screenplay. This movie is all about a girl (Tessa) who search for a astonishing guy called charlie.
Tessa left her home to avoid forced allowance fixed by housemates and she went to a hotel and she found interesting things about Charlie. In the same room she found a book containing sketches of Charlie. She became more crazy about Charlie. The clues she had with herself and also with the help of people, she went on to find Charlie with lot of obstacle.
This is my one of the favourite movie I have ever seen. I have watched the film in the lockdown. Different colour printed shirts, beard, easy going character and body language of Dulquer were one of the reasons for liking the movie. The background score done by Gopi sundar was awesome. Screenplay work is excellent. Probably without proper screenplay this film would not have been that good. We live in a world were people are busy building their own lives and have no time for others. We give value more to what the society would think rather than our own opinions.
This movie influence people to change their concept about life! Charlie is someone who is living to explore the beautiful side of the world and ready to do anything to make his dear ones happy.

In real life scenario nobody would have come across a person who instead of trying to secure his own life ,finds time to help others and then disappear and appear according to his wish. He doesn't even have a mobile phone. This film has a different thought about life
That's why it is one of my favourite movie.

2, Nayakan- Nayakan is considered as one of the best film in tamil industry. It was written and directed by the great Maniratnam featuring Kamal hassan, saranya, Nazar, Dilliganesh and many more. Cinematography was done Maniratnam's friend Pc sreeram.Music was composed by illayaraja. All the songs in the movie was blockbuster namely "thennpandi cheemaieelae" was a class act. I think this was an inspiration to many directors like Gautam vasuden menon.
The story of the film was kamal who belongs to South tamilnad his father was killed by policemen. He attacked the policemen and went onto escape from Tamilnadu and reached Bombay. He has been taken care by the people living in that area. One day a politician came asked slum people to clear the area but the people living there refused to do. Kamal who stood up for them and tackled the politicians. Later on Kamal(Nayakar) became gangster. He married Saranya and had one son and daughter. Villains tried to murder Nayakar but his wife got trapped and killed by them.Nayakar with his children and well wishers loved in Bombay. After the time pass by Nayakar's son also wanted to become like Nayakar but his father didn't like this. One day Nayakar's daughter seen his father's rowdism. She had a fight with this dad and went out of the home and married Nazer who was a police officer appointed to kill Nayakar. When Nayakar's son took over the duties of his father for the time he has been killed by the police. Nayakar was completely broken and cried. This scene was taken in one shot and got good appreciation from the audience point of you.At last Nayakar all illegal activities and murder have been filed as case and Nayakar was taken to court by his nephew. The director doesn't shows what happens inside the court and suddenly got released but he has shot down by a person who was mentally ill. The moral of story was "as you saw as you reep". Nayakar had taken up the wrong way his life also been ended up like this. Kamal had taken a lot of effort to act in this character. This shows his dedication towards his work.

  27. 1st Shutter island
Shutter island is a 2010 classic American flim . Doesn’t matter how many times you watch this movie you will be engaged all the time. In this twisted psychological thriller drama leonardo dicaprio plays a US marshal and he investigates at an island where a patient was escaped. Mark ruffalo plays chuck investigation partner of teddy on the case of a mental patient disappearance. After reaching the island it seemed that everyone including the doctors, staffs are playing a mind game with the broken marshal who has a twisted past and he himself volunteered to take up this case in hope to catch a pyschopath named andrew who killed his wife but things get complicated and takes a nasty turn for teddy when he reaches to the bottom of the truth.
Reason why i liked this movie was the fact that there has been so much thought that has been put into making this movie just like the background music which digs deep into the scene and blends on screen and leonardo never failed to deliver his best . This movie became martin scorsese’s second highest grossing flim worldwide!!!

2nd favourite flim I could say pithamagan reason being the movie itself. Its as raw as it could be just like any other bala’s flim.
And the role vikram played damn the man just came across as raw as possible.although it’s a simple story about an extraordinary man and his relationship with a perfectly ordinary world. Sittham is a child of graves born in a cemetery and lived there all his life until one day as a grown man he was forced to step out into the real world. He is caught in times he doesn’t understand and he’s totally unaware of such concepts as money, the police, laws and other stuffs.vikram’s acting was top notch even though he was dialogue less throughout the movie and he could put up all the emotions and pain through his body language and on the other hand suriya’S acting was equally good. Bala just nailed it with his characters and his plot!!!!!

  28. 1) Five feet apart
This one such movies tht u need to watch atleast once in ur lifetime. It's about two people who are suffering from the same disease cystic fibrosis. Its a disease tht affects our lungs and we have problems while we are breathing and it mostly happens in the night . So more than the disease it tells how people can't have any normal feelings or emotions to other people, like tht button in ur system is nullified. A person suffering from this have to maintain a 6 feet distance with a person dealing with the same because they might get infected. So these two people who meet in the hospital slowly get feelings for eachother and they realise they can't have any physical touch or contact. But they adjust because that's what life about right. They lessen thejr distance by one feet and maintain a five feet apart distance . It's such a beautiful film which will have all the elements we want . Emotionally connected to the film just for the love they have towards eachother even at the time of crisis or at worse even death. Love is the element, it can do wonders. Please give it a try !

    Aanandam( malayalam)
It's a fun filled movie which gives all of the memory of our good old days. The fun we had in high school or even for some their college days if they were not in corona batch XD. So it's about college students gang that consists of all types. They go on a trip with ther batch mates in the name of industrial visit . It's about what happens there and how it becomes a integral part of their college life. It's jz a fun filled sensitive one because no one will finish the movie without a smile in their face . U will jz fall in love with all the scenes. This movie is love . It's my stress buster as it involves friends. Friends are there real stress busters of life and what can we do without them. Any one out there want to have a full filled 3 hrs I would suggest this movie ...again because this movie is love .

  29. GONE GIRL - One of my favorite movies would be gone girl. It is directed by David Fincher, who is known for his psychological mystery films. It's certainly the suspense, the twists that have drawn me the most. In this movie, a lady named Amy disappears on their anniversary and so the media focuses on her husband, Nick, accusing him of murdering his own wife. As an audience, I thought that Nick had killed his wife, and that's when the director set off the twists and turns which was absolutely mind blowing and left me awestruck .She expected that Nick would be executed for her murder, and planned to kill herself but soon Nick deduces Amy's plan. Aside from the screenplay, the directing attracted me, as did the acting. I am sure it keeps one on the edge of the seat and have you guessing till the end of the movie. On the whole, it is an enticing movie!

SILVER LININGS PLAYBOOK - Silver Linings Playbook is a rom-com drama film directed by David O. Russell. The love between two mentally unstable people was shown beautifully in this film. The way they help one another is so incredible. No one could understand better if they had not lived in the same situation. When most movies focus on the love between perfect people, this is the one where they accept each other's flaws and live the way they are. Although the girl's character is weird , she never fails to love herself and never regrets things. The guy, on the other hand, is striving to overcome the disorder. His father with obsessive compulsive disorder does the best he can not upset his son. This film is more realistic. In particular, it is RELATABLE. Just fell in love with the movie! The level of chemistry and the actors nailed their characters. The overall message of the movie is that you should never fail to see the silver lining.

    1.the platform (english) :
This movie brings out the meaning of the term 'kafkaesque'. It actually projects a future prison like structure where not only prisoners but also for the people who search for Soliditary resides on their own will. A literal deep dive into the depravity and desperation of the human psyche. It is a ride of jolts and disgusts.Top to bottom the imprisoned cast give great performances. As a metaphor for politics and society at large, the movie is held back by its ambiguity and offers no easy answers, but when viewed for what it is, a midnight movie with a message. The background used and the background music pulls the rhythm of wilderness and sadness more and more. The way the director Galder displayed his beautiful with message is fascinating. I personally liked this film because it made me curious to know the end from the start. It made me wait to know the message. It tickled me to be patient. The works of the cast and the whole crew is worth to watch.

    2.the lion king:
Lion King is my most favorite animated movie ever. Since my childhood this movie has a great impact on me. The characters mufasa ,simba , rafiki, zazu, nala, timon, pubma, scar each and every character were given a role that perfectly projected their personal character. The storyline was awesome.the first scene,The search in wilderness and the comeback every scene was depicted so perfectly.the songs in the film and the editing were awesome. The characters were beautifully designed. The voice given absolutely suited. It made me cry when mufasa died. The impact was strong. The emotion brought in the movie is appreciable. The sound effects, background musics, the places featured made the movie worth watching. A family movie. I liked it so much

  31. 1)Kaththi
Kaththi highlights the ignorance shown by us towards the problem that the farmer and the challenges that they come across due to globalization. The director has thrown lights on one such issue by blending all the commercial elements in the Vijay starrer.Kaththi was not just an another routine entertainer, but the movie with strong message. It was hard hitting film on our system, which continues to emploit farmers. The tamil flick tried to expose the nexus of politicians, media, and businessman and a common man who fights against the injustice. It made me aware of the problems faced by farmers, because films have a great impact. Aniruth's music took it to a new level. I loved the film so much and it's always so close to my heart

    2)96
96 is a breezy musical romantic drama written and directed by Prem Kumar. He had used all the possible opportunities in this film to prove his potential and capability in making a cult classic romantic drama. It gave me the heartwarming experience of visualising the journey of emotional pure love. The love between Ram and Janu was so pure . There are quite a lot of emotional scenes without dialogue in this movie which captured my attention from the beginning till the end. Vijay sethupadi's acting was phenomenal and had me connected with Ram's character.Music composed by Govind Menon has shown his masterclass in RR and BGM.The emotional content in this film is elevated through the back ground score. The film travel back with the memories which attracted me the most

  32. INSIDE OUT

Inside out follows the story of Riley, an 11-year-old girl who has just moved from Minnesota to San Francisco.Although Riley is the focus of the film, her emotions take center stage. I love the way of depicting core memories (Joy, Sadness, Disgust, Fear and Anger) as tiny person with specific colors to represent each, memories as colored balls and her power personality as floating islands. Joy acts to be the leader, she keeps the others in check but reminds the viewers that all of them have an important function like,
    - Disgust keeps Riley safe from being poisoned.
    - Fear keeps her safe from a catastrophe by imagining worst case scenarios.
    - Anger protects her from others and also allows her to be a better hockey player.
However, Joy fails to see the importance of Sadness and forbids this emotion in every way possible. The entire movie focuses on Joy trying to save Riley. But when it all comes to a climax, it is Sadness who is able to make Riley feel again. That point of the movie touched my heart. We all want to be happy but it’s perfectly fine to surrender to emotions other than happiness. Sometimes we are hurt and it needs to be felt. Sometimes we are scared, angry, disgusted and it’s okay to let those emotions out.

    SILLU KARUPATTI

Halitha Shameem’s wonderful anthology gives us four romantic stories across four age groups connected by that magical thread called love! Through the four stories, Halitha tries to define what love means at different stages of our lives – during adolescence, it is unconditional and unrequited; as twenty-somethings, it is a mix of the physical and the emotional; during middle-age, it means intimacy while at the fag end of our lives, it stands for companionship. And she succeeds in style by giving us a feel-good film that leaves us smiling and also feeling. So the screenplay attracted me and also the direction. This particular movie makes me want to look at it over and over again. When the world you live in is so involved in hate-mongering, you tend to look at little displays of love among people of all age groups. And that’s what Sillu Karupatti is all about.

  33. Interstellar

This is the 1st Sci-fi movie that I watched at the beginning time of college life. Its excellent in terms of being scientifically accurate and has a brilliant narrative and effective story-telling.But when I watched it for the 1st time I couldn't understand that all.. after I found some details about the flim in the book The Science of Interstellar by Kip Thorne who the physicist worked for that film together with Christopher Nolan ,the movie brings light to the father-daughter bond.As a viewer, you can feel what Murph and Cooper feel. Cooper is the protagonist of the film and his intend to leave the earth to find a new planet for his future generations made that character special in the flim. Also I have been in love with space for a long time. This all made my attraction more towards Interstellar and the Director Christopher Nolan

    Nanban

It's a great Flim by Shankar.. It's a remake of Hindi flim 3 idiots but I love this movie because of the characters in it.The film deals with the theme that one shouldn't run behind success and rather pursue his/her own interests. If one develops the right skill anything is possible and the sentence "All is well "is really give sensible feel and a major reason for I like this is the perfect casting. Vijay, Srikanth and Jiiva are as endearing the three buddies and display terrific chemistry much like Aamir Khan, Madhavan and Sharman Joshi in the original. The scenes during the journey, they recall their college memories are wonderful and the comedys, script, story, screen play and the songs & music are seems good and one more reason to like the flim was Vijay who plays the part of Paari with perfection, never going over the top with the histrionics and it's all about friendship,I always like this kind of films

35. THANI ORUVAN :On the whole, Thani Oriuvan is a stylish action thriller, a rare genre in Tamil cinema. Subha's dialogues are super sharp, especially the lines like “Your choice of friend will show your character, your choice of enemy will show your capacity”.

300:300 is not an accurate film, as that is not how the Battle of Thermopylae played out, but it is arguably the film that the ancient Greeks would have made 2500 years ago if they had the technology equipment, a massive budget, and a Spartan Gerald Butler with polished abs.

    Aliens in the attic:
I like this film as it was totally entertaining right from the beginning. This film was based on an imaginary situation that aliens will invade the whole planet earth.
The nasty little aliens who have invaded the vacation home of the Pearson clan shoot darts that turn grown-ups into zombies controlled by a video-game-style joystick. At one point both the arrogant boyfriend (Robert Hoffman) and dear sweet Nana (Doris Roberts) get zapped and embark on a kickboxing battle of epic comic proportions.
Ashley Tisdale - a special guest star in this context - knocks around the background as Tom’s spoiled sister. As that zombie boyfriend, Hoffman gets most of the slapstick laughs, and he’s about as funny.
I would highly recommend this film once if you are looking for entertainment and not really with big expectations.

    Five feet apart:
I like this film as it shows how the patients of cystic fibrosis (CF) lead and adjust their life even though it was not fully true as there were some drama to it.
Both Stella Grant (Haley Lu Richardson) and Will Newman (Cole Sprouse) suffer from the genetic disorder and life-threatening incurable illness cystic fibrosis (CF), which affects their lungs. Stella tries to battle her illness using social media to educate people on how it affects patients. She’s also extremely mindful about her medical regimen, by keeping track and organizing her pills using an app that she made. On the other hand, Will throws caution to the wind as he believes they are living on borrowed time, and prefers to make the most of their short lives. CF patients need to be kept 6 feet apart as they suffer the risk of contracting infections. This becomes a big hindrance when Stella and Will fall in love with each other.

I would highly recommend this film once if you like to see different perspective of life as this film portrays male and female protagonists’ view of life differently.

  37. 1) To all the boys:
To All the Boys is a series of American teenage romance films, based on the trilogy of novels of the same name written by Jenny Han. Starring Lana Condor and Noah Centineo in the central roles, the plot centers around Lara Jean Song-Covey (Condor), a shy teenager who writes five letters—ones she never planned to send—to boys that she has had crushes on. The films show her experiences after the letters are received by the young men.The character Lara Jean attracted me slot and I loved the character of Peter kavinskey ❤️ The chemistry between them was lovely to watch throughout the movie. In each and every scene, the movie taught how matured and childish their love was. No distance could tear them apart was the end point of the movie and I totally loved the acting of every single person in this movie....And the bond between their sisters was also amazing to watch ❤️

    2)Ae Dil hai Mushkil:

Ae Dil Hai Mushkil is a 2016 Indian Hindi-language musical romantic drama film directed, produced and written by Karan Johar. The music is composed by Pritam with lyrics by Amitabh Bhattacharya. It stars Ranbir Kapoor, Anushka Sharma, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan and Fawad Khan with special appearances by Shah Rukh Khan, Lisa Haydon, Imran Ali Abbas .I don't know why,but whenever I feel low,I watch this movie for sure..The characterisation of alizeh was my favourite.....she was so lovable and funny as well...The way she taught Ranbir that she friends him over love him was soo good..And my favourite dialogue of the movie is " The most purest form of love is one side love...coz it cannot be shared by others and is fully belonging to us" was a famous dialogue...Music by Pritam was amazing throughout...and Mohammed Rafi song references was amazing ❤️

1.Super Deluxe - Super Deluxe is one of my most favourite movie of all time. Super Deluxe is a dark comedy film directed by thiagarajan kumararaja.I love Thiagarajan kumararaja's way of story telling and his philosophies. The tone of the movie is very fresh and that's what makes it very special and the background music is awesome. The movie contains many small elements and needs to be watched more than once to notice them. The director uses the characters of his movie to express what's in his mind and how he views the society.Super deluxe is a hyperlink movie, which revolves around four separate stories and how they coincide at the end. In each story the director speaks about something different. Through fahad fasil's character director questions government and it's rules, through ramya krishnan's character he questions society, through mysskin's character he questions the nature of god. He also speaks about the existence of aliens and that we are not alone in this universe. He does all this in a dark and funny manner. Overall Super Deluxe is a crazy and awesome movie!

2 . PK(2014) - Directed by Rajkumar Hirani. He is undoubtedly one of the finest directors of Indian cinema, whereas all his movies are unique in its own way, Also Aamir Khan's acting was phenomenal in the movie. The way director speaks about life in a funny and hard-hitting way is beautiful. The movie begins with an alien(Aamir khan) entering our world from another universe. He then loses his key, which is the only way he can contact his species. The movie revolves around what he encounters next. He was made to believe by people of earth that god can give us anything we ask for. Through this plot director amuses us with his screenplay and narration in the way we are consumed by wrong beliefs and how we human beings are separated by the differences in our religion and caste. The director tries to convey us that humanity and love is what's important and caste has been created by people for their own comforts. He speaks about love that how strong and important it is , not only for humans but to all creatures. We say that all are equal but do we treat everyone equally....well that's a big question .

My Another Favourite Movie Is Thozha and its directed by Vamshi Paidipally .This movie is remake of The Intouchables. Its a Comedy drama Genre Movie . This movie gets more and more relatable when you grow with age and experiences in life facing several sorrows and hardships. The Cute Relationship ( Friendship) Between Karthi and Nagarjuna is The most Loveable and Caring is Awesome.Eventhough Karthi is in struggles , he gives his best to make Nagarjuna happy and peaceful. The bonding between Nagarjuna and Karthi they completely steal the show with their mesmerising and heart warming performances. Some of the dialogues in this movie was really so good and meaningful. It is an example of the real meaning of life and how it should be lived. This movie shows that when you lost everything in your life u lost your hope on life , god will send someone who will make yourr life colourful and again you start living your life.

Maanagaram: It's a great movie packed with comedy , drama and action. The plot and screenplay of the movie is really good.
The performance of Shri and other actors were top notch. The story revolves around the city life of different characters who go through various problems. The everyday life of the characters resonates well with the audience.Everyone in the movie are trying to adapt to new situations without breaking clinging to some hope. The story and choice of each person intertwine their lives in the end. It conveys that there is always hope and good in this world even in the darkest situation.

Uncut gems: This movie is about a debt ridden jweller who finds a rare gemstone online and how he sells it to settle his disputes. The protagonist life is full of deceit about how he handles his business and family. The movie is made realistically about how he proceeds with his problems without giving up. In one particular scene in the jweller's shop the heat and stress of the moment is captured perfectly and conveyed to us .The heroes ups and downs in his life and the consequences of his action are shown nicely. The essence of the movie is about "you reap what you sow".

  41. 1)Murder mystery- it is a great movie with some amazing sense of humour and suspense. The movie is about a couple who have been wanting to go on a honeymoon for a very long time, but haven't had the money to go. Then one fine day, the husband lies to the wife that their anniversary gift is a trip to Europe. So he then plans a low budget trip. 1. 1)Endgame:
The sequence the movie entailed was amazing, including how they introduced captain marvel in the post-credit scene of her debut movie a month before.
Avengers Endgame is the fourth installment to the Avengers movies and it sure is the one to watch because everything you see in the other three as well as the stand alone solo movies sequence together to show the characters backstories individually and they ultimately form the team of earth's mightiest heroes in the movies that feature all of them as one unstoppable force.

      2 ) June :

Friendship, romance, heartbreak, reunions, and weddings. This is what June is all about. It introduces us to a group of fun characters who bear resemblances to your former classmates — you feel like hanging out with them. There is June’s first crush and boyfriend Noel (Sarjano Khalid) — a slightly introverted kid yearning to be a filmmaker — and then there is Anand (Arjun Ashokan), a stalker from a different school.

Just when you though the movie had some old-fashioned ideas and seemed like something you have seen before, the director skilfully turns it around and ends with a long climax scene that you don’t want to end. Watch this movie and leave with a smile on your face.

    1. Soorarai pottru
In Recent times Soorarai pottru movie has inspired me a lot and I liked it very much, for the reason of Suriya's dedication to that movie and the acting in each and every scene was mind blowing and sometimes it made to cry , apart from his acting the direction by sudha kongara madam was absolutely awesome as a woman she rocked it she's proved that woman can do anything alike man even she showed the role of the heroine very supporting, then comes to the Heroine role and it was made perfectly by Aparna , and the BGM and the songs as it's also was rocking and all those side characters had made their dedication and it's really a great effort by lot of people to give a good feature film. On the whole the movie was Fantabulous.

    1) Vaaranam aayiram

This film is really heart touching and fantastic it tells us about surya an army officer's life story. Story revolve around the wonderfull relationship between surya and his father Krishnan. The story has three beautifull love stories in it also it has all the other emotions. And hats off to suriya as it's really difficult to do a character in many makeovers. He has acted as a 17 year school going boy to a 72 year old man though there were two different roles he managed it smoothly. He was just living in the whole movie the way his expressions changes is just amazing. And also GVM sir the director of v1000 has done a great job he should also be appreciated for this movie. This movie is a real motivation for those who think life is all about past or losses. The dialogue by Krishnan "let whatever happen life has to go on!"is message from the movie . And the way GVM made love story is extraordinary.

    2) Endgame
It's a emotional farewell for all those marvel fans waiting for Avengers assemble for past 20 (movies + ). Movies is so emotional for both Iron man fans and captain America fans being their inspiration for so many movies finally these two hero finally takes rest. The movie length is about 3 hours but doesn't feel like a long movie.Russo's brothers did a amazing work and whole team made a great amount work towards this movie. Anyone can say amount of work put in this movie is worth watching for 3 times or even more. Movie starts slow by sad atmosphere but never failed to surprise us. Each and every character choice of dialogue is so good . Then sacrifice of black widow will make anyone emotional. The plot is so good you can't stop imagining what going to happen next. The sacrifice scene of doc. Banner (hulk) is amazing. Then the most awaited dialogue from captain America "Avengers assemble " Just gives us goosebumps. Then Iron man's "I'm iron man " Just makes anyone cry. The whole movies have so many goosebumps sequence and dialogue . Where fans waited for 20+ movie just to hear those!. Just brilliant and tremendous work by the whole and very good treat for fans .

  44. Angamaly dairies:

Angamaly Diaries is an excellent film. Lijo Jose Pellissery has crafted a film that has a lived-in and lively quality to it, so much so that you could almost sense the place. It feels so real and vibrant. There are so many things going on at the same time that it's often quite overwhelming to grasp these emotions. It's a sensory overload, in some ways. The songs, the music, the acting, the editing, the cinematography, all serve the film so well.

One thing that Pellissery does quite effortlessly is to bring out the chaos in his films in a controlled manner. And Angamaly Diaries is a great example of blending chaos with control. He has the capability of showing the confusion and anger in people but on his unique terms. This is a filmmaker in complete control of his craft. I loved the songs and it complemented the scenes so well. The way music by Prashanth Pillai is used in the film is actually quite commendable. There is a sequence early on where the music is in complete sync with the scene and it's such a joy to see that. It's these little things that add so much to the film. The plot maybe pretty straightforward on paper but the way it's executed with such precision and playfulness, that makes the film such a fun ride. The cinematography is one to look out for. The last 10 minutes of the film says everything about the masterful craft behind Giressh Gangadharan's cinematography. Anthony Varghese and the rest of the cast are great. This is a very packed film. It's a film where there's a lot to admire, a lot to love. And to my surprise, it's actually very funny. It's electrifying, it's explosive and it's mad fun. Loved it.

    Jivii:
Jiivi starts from a normal unemployed youth (I thought what's there so much to explore in an unemployed youth's life other than silly love affairs and friends ) Saravanan, his unsatisfied parents and establish family problems. Then the narrative shifts to an incident related to Saravanan, his room mates and house Owner.
First half slowly moves through Saravanan, his friend and love(song also). When the pivotal incident occurs, the film moves to a different track.Writer then introduces a relatively fresh concept- inter-connection of incidents from past.Story then moves with strong dialogs and in a way reminiscent of Papanasam (especially mobile phone scene).Babu thamizh is the first winner here.Narrative and bgm too suit a thriller mood.Cuts should have been little more perfect though the running time is less than 2 hrs.Director handles well-etched script well especially planning scenes and initial bottle crush scene.
Its good not to focus close-up shots too much and give importance to dialogs in a film starring a growing actor like Vetri.Karunakaran and Rohini were good in their roles.
Jiivi with a different hero and in a much shorter form could have been a genius one.Still, try not to miss this one with the expectation of a true thriller and not one with out and out twist and turns.

    1.Raatchasan
A taut psycho thriller with very little to complaint.

Ratchasan is what you get when all the aspects of film making more or less comes together with respect to the genre of the film.

The movie USP undoubtedly is it’s screenplay and direction which keeps you guessing till the very end about the killer, throwing surprises at regular intervals. The re recording and the edits complement the screenplay very well especially the former.

Coming to performances, everyone did the need full without making you go wow, which again isn’t needed given the genre.

The movie has it flaws though, once the killer and his motives were revealed the director self indulges a bit and drags the movie a wee bit. Also there are some cinematic liberties taken with respect to the coincidences and a slight deviation with the protagonist’s love angle.

    2.raja rani
Raja rani is a decent romantic drama. It reiterates that ‘there is love after love failure’ and importantly ‘there is life after love failure’. Arya has done a good job in this movie. Jai is good as naive and innocent call centre executive Surya. Nayanthara has given a nice performance in this film. Her scenes with Jai are funny and endearing.Nazriya has an important role in the second half and she makes a very good impression.Santhanam entertains in the film with his trademark funny lines. Sathyaraj is good as Nayanthara’s father. G.V.Prakash is the bloodline of Raja Rani breathing life into Atlee's script. There are moments in the second half leading to the finale which sag. Overall its a classy romantic movie which is worth watching.

Ayirathil Oruvan: It's a fantasy and thriller movie. It's also based on true history which depicts a conflict episode between the Cholas and Pandiyas in Tamilnadu. The story starts before some centuries. A Chola king and a God statue of pandyas were moved to a island secretly from Pandyas. Many Pandyan kings trace the place but Cholas interpreted with 7 traps . In present an excavation team going to find the extinct Chola empire in that island after all struggle they face but a major twist is that they found that Cholans were not extinct they are living so many generations inside the island. The visual,c.g, direction and background music were performed well in that movie. This movie is considered to be the Dir. Selvaragavan's Masterpiece.

Maanagaram: It's a great movie packed with some thrill, comedy, drama and action. The plot and screenplay of the movie is really good. The debutant director Lokesh Kanagaraj has done an extraordinary job.

      Interstellar:
This is the genre I love, sci-fi with meaningful scenes and story. Interstellar is loved by everyone whoever has watched it. It not only depicts the interstellar planetary travel but the science behind the black hole is also depicted clearly. On the set, scientist always guided Mr. Nolan on how to create the scenes with scientific laws. It is my top favorites.

      INCEPTION :
Starred by Leonardo dicaprio, this movie don’t meed any further appreciations, pretty awesome. “MIND CONFUSING” i will say .Hard at once to find out whats going there in the movie. No one could ever imagine the level of the imagination of the writer whosoever has written the story of this grand movie. A must watch movie. Dream inside a dream and another dream inside that dream, completely consumes the presence of mind.

  48. 1) Kaidhi:It is not an ordinary movie. Its more than Thriller genre. Where Karthi played, not played actually lived the character. Story has all emotions. Where An angry policeman want to encounter the gangster ( Drug distributor). He have captured crores of drugs through his source but his own teams has some black sheep where they helping the gangster. Karthi suspected by the police for no reason but then, he was the sole person to help policemen and proved he was innocent and longing to meet his daughter after spending several years in prison for murdering the gangs who did violence with his wife. At the end of the movie, though the main villain have escaped from encounter, all drugs were burned under the fire and Naren(Police) promised to give best education to karthi's daughter , way of showing his gratitude of saving his life.

No more songs, no more unwanted scenes placed, dialogues were to the point. Flashback didnt feel boredom. Background music scored much, it made me to watch at the edge of the seat.

2)vada chennai:I managed to watch this film for some more number of times but, every time, Vadachennai (directed by Vetrimaaran) still manages to surprise me in terms of the story and the screenplay. Even though it was projected as a two-part gangster saga, Vadachennai had much more to offer as a character-driven drama as well as a thriller. To me, this first part felt like a complete film in itself, thanks to the thickness in the plot and the excellent writing.

Vetrimaaran wrote the story and the dialogues were written by him on the spot. His brilliance in writing can be seen in the scenes where he maintains suspense like, for example, when Senthil walks out of his jail territory and unexpectedly gets stabbed by Anbu, when Anbu tries to get away from not being caught by Senthil's gang in the 'kalyana mandapam', when Rajan's henchmen attempt to betray and kill Rajan himself in a restaurant and when Chandra reveals the entire plan of revenge to Thambi (and, in turn, to the audience).

Baahubali.Great movie, but the main character is sort of misogynistic, he taunts his lover upon meeting her for the first time without properly explaining anything. His lover, an incredibly strong warrior and who truly defines representing feminine power within South Asian culture, is immediately demoted following his appearance. To show she's pretty, he strips her, puts makeup on her, and then the movie don't give her another fight scene.
Also, it highly employs colorism. She's immediately whiter when acting pretty and then her skin becomes darker when she puts clothes on. The opposing army and antagonists are dark skinned, greatly contrasting the lighter skinned protagonists. In every climatic scene for the protagonist, his skin is visibly lightened.
Otherwise, the movie is really good. Since South Asian culture usually uses this tropes, it's in line with what's expected. Would love to see less of this in such a beautiful and complex story.

Theri.Theri, directed by Atlee and starring Vijay, is an emotion packed action entertainer that flirts with logic but which ultimately decides to forego it. The story it tries to narrate gets revealed before it could even get started when a tame and docile version of Vijay - Joseph Kuruvilla who runs a bakery is spotted in Kerala with his very young daughter Nivi (Baby Nainika) and with very little inclination to confront, let alone fight. When an incident involving his daughter and her school teacher Annie (Amy Jackson) puts this fragile reality into disarray, the history in the film commences: the tale of an IPS officer Vijaykumar (Vijay) in Chennai who is capable of enduring pain and anguish beyond most mortals while possessing the strength and agility to take out 20 men all by himself. When he locks horns with an influential politician Vaanamamalai (director Mahendran), all hell breaks loose and Vijay loses his family including his lovable wife Mithra (Samantha) and doting mother (Radhikaa), but manages to escape with little daughter. One can't help but remember Rajinikanth’s cult movie Baashaand Vijayakanth’s cop story 'Chatriyan'.Too many issues like IT girl being brutally raped, mafia gang crippling children for begging, no safety norms for construction workers are being dealt with. Yet another drawback is that the narration is set in a formulaic pattern – moving from comedy to sentiments and then there are huge action blocks and finally finishes with song routines. Technically, cinematography by George C Williams is brilliant with colorful visuals be it in songs and the action sequences. GV Prakash’s background score warrants mention. The mass movie will be well savored by Ilayathalapathy’s ardent fans.

Tessa is a graphic artist who runs from home to avoid her marriage. With the help of her friend, she rents a room. Initially, she hates her room which is a complete mess, but then she learns that the room was previously occupied by a carefree vagabond named Charlie . When she starts cleaning up the place, she discovers a photo and a sketchbook of this man. The sketches depict the previous New Year's Eve when a small-time thief (Soubin Shahir) tries to rob the man's room. In a turn-of-events, the man joins him, and they both go on the rooftop of a home. There, they are shocked by what they see inside. That was the last page of the sketch, and the story is left unfinished, which piques her curiosity about the rest of the story, as well as the previous occupant of the room.
Intrigued, Tessa starts finding the people in the man's sketches. Backtracking his steps, she meets the man's "father" , a boat servant, and Mariya/Queen Mary , a physically abused woman. Charlie takes Mariya out to sea for her birthday. Unfortunately, Mariya commits suicide and he becomes heartbroken. Following up on more clues, Tessa gets news that the man is staying in a hotel and rushes to meet him. However, she just misses him by a few seconds. Later a helper boy in the hotel explains to her that the little girl with Charlie was Mariya's daughter. One day, she meets the thief depicted in that man's sketches and inquiries about the day's events. He informs her that his sir (Charlie) stopped a woman from hanging herself, and followed her when she escaped from the scene on the bike. They find the house and finally identify the girl as Doctor Kani (Aparna Gopinath). She then meets Kani and inquires about her story. Kani explains that she was depressed over her broken relationship when she did her first independent operation leading to the death of a 10-year-old girl. Further hooked by the media, she was desperate and about to commit suicide on new year eve and was distracted by that man. He takes her to a home maintained by Kunjappan and she was living there than on. Kunjappan a hopeless romantic is waiting for his teenage love Theresia to show up.
Tessa's mother finds her and takes her home. While a depressed Tessa was on her way back home, the man then returns with Kunjappan's long lost love, who is a nun now. Kani informs him about Tessa, and he admits knowing about Tessa and her search for him. Charlie informs Kani that he will be attending the Thrissur Pooram function, and Tessa can find him there if she's looking for him. Finally, Tessa finds him performing in a magic show. Afterward, he spots her, approaches, and asks her if she wants to have drinks. At first, she introduces herself as Shruti Raman and lets him think that he has met the wrong person. But as the festival starts, Charlie's antics make her confess that she is indeed Tessa and he too reveals his name to be 'Charlie'. As the credits roll, they are seen wandering together towards a new journey in life.

  50. K.SARAN
